Provides examinations, diagnoses and a complete range of dental treatment procedures; treatment of complex dental cases including children with special needs or medical complications; multiple specialists available on-site for consultations and referrals, including early orthodontic intervention; the ability to schedule more than one child at the same appointment time; and multilingual dental care providers. Fees are approximately 60% lower than the average private pediatric dentistry office in the Bay Area.

No new patients accepted without a referral from CCHS medical provider. Provides a list of referrals to other dental providers who may be accepting new patients.
Offers dental hygiene services to the public by dental hygiene students, at a reduced rate, under the supervision of a dentist and registered dental hygienists. Services include cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatment and disease control instruction. No screening appointment required for children, but a parent or guardian must accompany all children. Service not available in the summer.

Preventative education is offered on-site in collaboration with schools throughout Contra Costa county. Provides free preventive dental services to children at elementary schools in low-income areas of the county. The program works in collaboration with schools, preschools and community partners to increase access to oral health services, by linking families with no/low-cost resources.
Provides information and referral, general medical and dental services offered by appointment, STI and HIV testing, peer counseling, and hepatitis testing for high risk clients at no charge. Volunteer opportunities and community health education handouts are also available, call for information.
Provides dental restoration to individuals who have received dental injuries to the front 8 teeth from former intimate artner or spouse, family member, sexual violence or is a victim of human trafficking. The individual must have been out of the abusive relationship for over one year. All applicants must have at least one interview to connect them with local resources, to confirm that the injuries were caused by domestic violence, and that the applicant has been out of the abusive relationship for at least one year. A signature from the counselor, advocate, social worker, or case manager must be provided on the application for acceptance into the program. A survivor whose smile is compromised due to injury and not due to previous neglect. The dentist makes the final determination of this aspect.
